Happy Thursday.
The build this week: Southern Nevada put more than 430 announced jobs behind a new mix of server hardware, packaging, monitoring, and circuit-board production.
Underneath: fresh radar contracts, Army loitering munitions, a Texas grid battery, industrial robots, and the deals moving physical industry.

The Lead
Southern Nevada approved a four-project economic-development slate Wednesday that carries more than 430 announced jobs and more than $55 million in capital investment.
The largest piece is Hyve Solutions. The company plans a North Las Vegas operation with 240 jobs averaging $38.55 an hour to build custom servers, storage systems, networking gear, and AI hardware. Hyve describes the site as a full-scale Las Vegas manufacturing hub, giving the region a production role inside the data-center supply chain.
ALPLA adds a different rung. The packaging manufacturer plans to put $8 million into a new Clark County operation with 51 jobs averaging about $35 an hour. Rapid Response Monitoring is expanding in Henderson by 12,000 square feet, investing $600,000, and adding 75 jobs. It expects roughly 240 people at the site after the expansion.
Lastly, unnamed advanced circuit-board manufacturer is considering Southern Nevada for a proposed $46 million operation with 65 jobs averaging about $46 an hour. While the facility isn’t committed, Its inclusion still shows what recruiters are pitching: server assembly at one end, electronics production at the other, and a workforce that can move between increasingly technical factory roles.
Las Vegas has spent decades building systems for moving people, powering large buildings, and serving a round-the-clock economy. Those capabilities can also support factories, but the new slate will test the less visible pieces: technical training, supplier density, utility capacity, and the ability to keep skilled workers as projects scale. Nevada's development system already pairs recruitment with workforce and business-support programs.
